Born and raised here in Montreal, she completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University majoring in Psychology and her Osteopathic training with the College d'Osteopathie du Quebec à Montreal. After completing her thesis in the field of Cranial Osteopathy, Maureen acquired the Centre Osteopathie Plus, a solo practice which grew over eight years into a multi-disciplinary clinic where many local Physicians and Specialists referred their patients.

Realizing a need to further her knowledge of more complex orthopedic and neurological conditions, Maureen then travelled and worked abroad. She studied extensively and was then accredited as a Primary Care Practitioner in Australia and received partial accreditation with the GOsC (UK). She was the first Female Canadian trained Osteopath to work in Singapore in South East Asia. She is trained and adept at interpreting all medical imaging including radiology and MRIs, but cannot legally diagnose or requisition such imaging in Canada. Her clinical style remains very empathetic while taking a more medically based approach to her treatments.

In keeping with her holistic approach to Women's Health, Maureen added Cosmetic Acupuncture using Gentle Laser (AcuLaser) after training with Michelle Gellis, a Cosmetic Acupuncturist who teaches throughout the USA.  Maureen worked as an Aesthetician for several years before discovering Osteopathy, and so adding this service is a natural return to her original love of cosmetic and beauty treatments, while incorporating her years of acquired knowledge and understanding of the functioning of the human body from a global and holistic viewpoint.

When Maureen is not working hands-on with her clients, she is teaching both in person and online to her Osteopathy students around the world.  Maureen is the Founder and Educational Director of the Center for Continuing Education of Osteopathy based in Toronto, Canada. Maureen is a member of SCMMAC.
